Petra la rose
Autumn is here...it's cooling down and I caught a cold! I keep sneezing and blowing my nose. So I needed to remember the heat of Jordan. More pictures of Petra to come....soon.
First El Kazhneh
And here's the incredible sandstone of Petra (oh Lynn I picked up many stones in Jordan! I'm sure you'd love to see my collections...).
El Kazhneh and me!
The camels behind me were wearing numbers and one wore number 5 on his neck...he kept rolling on the ground and farting....so of course I had to come up with the "pun of the day":
"N ° 5 de Camel ! "

But if you look behind me on the right, you can see a fence and apile of sand...when we came back in the evening (the stone is really very pink then but there wasn't enough light to take pictures)ther were an archaelogist and his workers digging. They still find stuff (tombs mostly) every day in Petra.

The # you replace by the pixelsize you wish for your pictures (this is a number!). Best is to simply divide the actual height and width by two (because you have to keep the original proportions of course).
You can also resize in a photo manip program...

And you look very cool in that pic in front of the camels.

So the sandstone is cemented by carbonate.... makes sense.
You really look the part of the explorer there... *smooch*
