Tom's new site is improving, there will be a music section soon, and you can already listen to his last album on the main page (It can play every song of the album actually! The bar is at the top, on the right). It's Tom's way to welcome visitors.... If you haven't bought it yet (how could you?) go and enjoy, it's free ! And you, gentle readers of the Spike love clan, just try the 8th track, a song called My Vampire Heart...
Also here an extract from the last entry of his diary. You can laugh at me, but I just love that British guy, his music, his poetry and in this case, his wit...When is he coming back in Paris again?
I sat in a Starbucks not so long ago with Ben Christophers – an amazing singer-songwriter you all probably know – listening to the instore music. As the afternoon progressed we both became slightly agitated at the fact that every singer-songwriter of the last 20 years was being played except us. You can all name the artists without pausing to think. Being of the whining disposition we then embarked on a rounded debate on the nature of the business and our place in it (much the same place that Pluto occupies in the solar system). That was then. As of today I would like to say to Ben, and everyone, that I have now been played in the lingerie department of Marks & Spencer. Everything else I achieve in life will be as nothing to this. I can now die in with a deep sense of fulfilment. Not least because it gives me a valid reason to hang around in the lingerie department of Marks & Spencer. More often than I do already.
Which is quite a lot.
