Fanfic recommendation

I've already recommended it, months ago, but I have to do it again.

Everybody should read eurydice72 's AU 'verse, especially the last story of it (sequel of "This Wanton World" which you can find here), called Diamond Studed Flunkies. It's Spuffy but complicated and everything or everyone is kind of grey.

It's amazing. I know I'm biased, being an Ethan lover and all, but I can't imagine anyone not being moved even just a  little bit, by her Ethan Rayne. I'm Spuffy at heart, I don't take threesomes involving Spuffy very well (except when it's the famous and delicious "Double Spiked" by kantayra  or Spike/Buffy/William!), and as I told her, usually when either Spike or Buffy are in a  relationship with someone else, it bothers me and I'm eager to see the relationship's ending, because Spike and Buffy must get together and stay together, but in that story it's the first time, in all my fanfic-reading time, that I have been torn, well not really torn, but challenged in my Spuffy certitude. The dysfonctional and unhealthy Buffy/Ethan couple is simply touching.

I don't take threesome involving Spuffy very well either , apart from Spike/Buffy/William ( which you can find very beautifully portrayed in some fics by evenstar_estel , too) , I can read Spike/Buffy/Angel post Chosen only if perfectly written in characterization and with everyone being equals ( as much as possible).
But just for a ficlet.
Or a PWP.
Or on a depressing day.


Ethan .. I don't like him very much, yet I learned to appreciate him in Eurydice's fic. But she's so insanely good.:)

Even well written, even by Herself, I am not into S/B/A...I can't help it hurts.

Yes evenstar's fanfic was the one I was thinking of when I mentioned Spike/Buffy/William (I guess that Spike doing himself is one of my kinks *blush*).

I recall that eurydice didn't like Ethan much first either...but he's addictive! ;- )

Ethan is such a complex character, he deserved more than 4 BTVS episodes. I wouldn't say that Giles/Ethan is as powerful as Spuffy for me, but it's definitely the only other 'ship that captivated me enough to read fanfictions.
