Mom is back to her home, it's quiet again at last and I saw Nip/Tuck finale finally...

I didnt' like it.

It was poor compared to last season's finale with Alec Baldwin, Ava and the surprising ending scene. We got exactly what I feared from episode 1 of season 3...nothing was surprising, the Sean/Quentin/Christian scene was heavy despite the parallel with Matt, Kit's speech, revealing Quentin's life, was a blatant lie with the oh-so-conventional shot on her face as she was telling his story. Quentin lost all his ambiguity, and the siblings business look like a bad tv movie cliché. I swear I was cringing.

The only good stuff that I can find is Christian willing to be a martyr and to cut his own hand for Sean's sake, the ironical parallel between the girl with a dick (the pre-op tranny I mean, not Kit!) and the penisless man, and the wink at season 1 when Matt actually tried to cut his prepuce all by himself.

Matt was probably the most interesting character in those 2 episodes.

Oh I still dislike Julia very much, maybe more than ever!
