Ho Ho Ho

Finally I got to watch Nip/Tuck Christmas episode before the grand finale of....bloody hell is it....tonight!?!?!?!?!?!! I saw the trailer and I can't wait to see that 2 hours finale, I hope someone will upload it quickly on one of the torrent sites I go to grab my series.

First off, I have to point out that Julia didn't seem to feel guilty about what happened in the previous episode...I really don't like that woman.

I enjoyed Matt's comments when he was decorating the tree with his sister, funny. I knew then that  he was coming to his sense about Ariel and her freaking racist family. Once more the series was daring with the case of Mr and Mrs Claus and the petrified foetus they found out in Joy's belly. Very nice parallel between this and Ariel's speech about keeping Christmas as it used to be, with white-looking characters in the crèche, refusing to...adjust to society. Adjusting was the key word of that episode, as the Matt/Christian scene pointed out in the end.

Oddly enough not a lot of Christian scenes for this Christmas eppy, but I loved the way he stood for "his son" in front of Ariel's father. And wasn't he good to eat in his sweat-pants?

I didn't like the pregnant Julia/Sean buisness though. Sounded like a needless repetition of season 1...She got an appointment really quickly (not credible) btw, and the last scene in which she changed her mind and didn't have the abortion looked like something that has been seen over and over on television (I especialy thought of Fallon Carrington in Dynasty in the 80's! What? Yes I watched Dynasty, sue me!). Of course it probably annoys me even more because I don't like Julia, and I don't want Sean and her to be reunited.

The writers were daring, but not brave enough to make Julia have an abortion for Christmas Eve.

But I must say that the very last scene with the rain pouring on the crèche and slowly washing the white painting from the black statues was really beautiful.

Was it foreshadowing, metaphorically, the finale? Will we see the darkness hidden underneath the white mask of the Carver, thus revealing a dark soul beneath a supposed white hat?

I wonder if we are going to find out...

Nah it can't be Liz, well I hope it isn't Liz.

I hope it isn't Quentin either...but could be now he seems down and defeated.

They might bring back Bobolit, or never reveal who the Carver is. Do you know if the series is renewed for a fourth season?

I hope they tell us who the craver is. I think it has been renewed. They should tell us if it is are not soon. But I think it is.
