Mitch Pileggi was on Nip/Tuck !

I just watched episode 12 and was so happy to see Mitch Pileggi, since I found him so sexy when he was on X-Files! I was in a bad mood all day long and this saved my day.

 

I don't have much to say. I really saw the final twist coming in. I was sure Erica wasn't the one Christian thought. First because he kept hallucinating about Kimber so he was not that reliable, secondly because Julia mistook a victim for her mother once and the writers must have count on us not thinking they'd do it again.  And when Julia finally made her speech/confession, I was certain it wasn't her mother. When the the woman woke up (I couldn't believe they had dared to do it btw, it was so enormous and one of the soooo many over-the-top things in that gory episode) and Julia finished her with the cushion, I was thrilled. First because it unveiled Julia's darkness that I've been pointing out for a while, and secondly because I thought that it was going to be worse for her if that women weren't actually Erica. And bingo! She did all of this for absolutely nothing!

I wasn't surprised by Julia's firing Quentin (told you he was going to be the biter being bittten) and I enjoyed the final lines:

Quentin: "You're a bitch"    Julia: "Maybe but at least I'm not yours"

I realy liked both Christian and Sean in that episode. Sean's honesty was touching. "I am not the man I thought". That has been his problem for a while. Of course I wanted to scream "No Sean she is not the woman you thought!". Sean saying he couldn't be a ER doctor was moving, but he's clueless about his ex-wife.

And my favourite part is a pun and, in my opinion, a wink at X-Files: when Sean freaked out and told Mitch Pileggi "you'd want me to SKIN HER! "  Skin....her....Skinner! Skinner was Mitch Pileggi's character in X-Files!

Of course I wanted to scream "No Sean she is not the woman you thought!".

Bingo. Sean is blinded by this woman and blind to himself.

Thing is, Julia called Sean in last night's ep, Christian called Sean a couple eps ago when he needed help. I don't think Julia is in the middle of their "love triangle", Sean is.

That is so true Sean is the one in the middle of the triangle.

Now Julia has to live with the guilt of not knowing who it was she killed too.

How bad is it that even though I watched the X-Files, I just now got the Skin....her....Skinner! Skinner connection?
