I won't have the time to do it in the upcoming week so this is where the meme ends.
Day 25 – A character who you can relate to the most
Once more with the characters! *sigh*
I relate more to authors in general than to just one of the characters they have created. I believe that a truly good book is one that makes you relate to all the characters in one way or another.

Day 26 – A book that changed your opinion about something
L'Affaire du Chien des Baskerville changed my opinion about its author Pierre Bayard. I had seen him on tv, promoting another book, and I wasn't super impressed. But when I read that book, which is so clever and also hilarious in places, I thought "that man is brillant!".

Day 27 – The most surprising plot twist or ending
The ending of La Planète des Singes by Pierre Boulle.
I don't think I have just one.
But for many reasons (the beautiful writing, the storytelling, the theme of the French Revolution told from the point of view of the Caribbean, the politics...) I adore El Siglo de Las Luces by Alejo Carpentier.

Day 28 – Favorite title
The Big Nowhere by James Ellroy. It is also one of his best books. I used to love Ellroy's hard boiled novels.

Day 29 – A book everyone hated but you liked
I have no idea!
Day 30 – Your favorite book of all timeI have no idea!
