Still there, alive

chaniAll went well in Orléans, I think. Mr Magic was his usual super-nice self and told me that my conference was good. Nobody asked tricky questions, the "big names" didn't shoot – Mr JC was nice and said he enjoyed my paper! – and I got praises from strangers afterwards. I came back exhausted and have been in a larval state since then.
I've been kinda skipping my flist these days, or quickly scrolling, for I haven't seen The Avengers yet and there's a lot of Avengers talk on LJ. I will go and see it on Tuesday with P-H, out of old Whedon loyalty (and becausesister_luck told me to!!!). I am not into superheroes and comic books but I have heard this movie isn't too bad.
But less with fiction and more with research and science. We all know that stars' death creates life but the particulars remain fuzzy for most people. I found this fascinating article today.
