I've just watched the last Nip/Tuck.
I wasn't impressed by that episode. It hadn't any style and was too linear. It lacked intensity. I wonder where they are leading us now. I was mostly disappointed by Liz given to her scene with Christian in the previous episode.
I guess that disappointment and deception was the theme of that episode, echoing the story of the HIV positive guy except that he didn't inspire us with sympathy...Nobody did actually but Christian. This might be what they aimed to, seeing everything from his perspective. Of course Christian can make mistakes, after all he took the wrong file at the beginning of the episode.
It's funny how they manage to make all the female characters quite hate-able, except maybe Kimber. Christian's mother was a hit in that department. WTF? Poor Christian.
As for Kit, I don't like that character, I haven't liked her since the beginning. I don't think she was well written, she was flat unlike the previous "bitch" of the series that was Ava. For instance Julia is a good character even though I dislike her as a person but Kit's character was a faux-pas.

Date: 2005-10-24 03:16 pm (UTC)I just watched the last episode last night, and I have to agree that I'm not sure where they are going with this show -- certainly to a dark, dark place.
Christian was abandoned by everyone but Kimber, and in a devastating way by his birth mother. God, to wish she had had an abortion. How can he come back from this?
