Downloading away

I've been trying for days to get Nip/Tuck S3 Ep3...Everytime the download got stuck at 97% or 98%! But I won't give up. Hopefully the third torrent might be the good one.
In the mean time I managed to grab Lost Ep 4. Here's a few thoughts
I think that episode was weaker than the previous one. The "message" was too easy for my taste. And how Hurley got to become Santa Claus in the end was so politically correct. But I guess I shouldn't have expected a marxist ending. LOL
I caught something interesting though. Locke called him Hugo. Since when does Locke know Hurley's real name? But did Locke really say "Hugo" or is it only what Hurley heard? The Jin/Hurley opening scene pointed out that it's all a matter of perceptions after all.
Kate got more bad points for taking the shampoo and having that silly post-shower banter with Jack.
The shower scene was typically the kind of scenes that make me think:
1. This is very conventional tv and so not Buffy level
2. I don't like Kate
That's it, Sun and Shannon are my favourite female characters.
Locke is still the best. Jin is still interesting and endearing. Sawyer still has great lines, I loved "I say: you first", and great looks.
I liked the way Lock ate his passion fruit (it was a passion fruit, innit?), reminded me good memories... and his interactions with the other characters. I liked how Shannon took care of the dog, and I liked the fact that Rose's husband was white even though Rose herself is too much of a cliché and annoys me a little bit. Hugo's mom was funny.

Rose is a bit of a cliché, but I guess so is Hurley's mum.

Yes his mum is a cliché too, but I guess I prefered someone joking about Jesus on the phone than someone like Rose.
