More on connections within Lost

The rerun of season 3 on French cable showed "Enter 77" tonight in which Mikhaïl compared himself to a lighthouse keeper! When Sayid, Locke and Kate reached the Flame, Danielle denied having ever seen the place before just like the lighthouse Jack was surpised that they had never seen before!

Games were very important, once again, on the episode, either chess in The Flame or ping-pong on the beach. Also Mikhaïl told Locke that his computer game that played chess had been programmed by 3 masters and that it cheated! And John Locke was so happy when he thought that he had won! Terry O'Quinn's face is really wonderful when he smiles.

At the end of the episode the station exploded ending any chance of communications with the outside. This time it's Locke who broke the lighthouse mirror, although unintentionally, by entering 77...

And of course, on the most recent episode, they showed tic tac toe (and an elaborate one at that), which always results in a tie. Hmm.. I think I need to watch that again. Doesn't pay to watch when sleepy.

I know, I mentioned it in http://frenchani.livejournal.com/387757.html#cutid1 (my post about Lighthouse) but didn't know the name. So it is tic tac toe! I was wondering about how it was called in English (we call it Morpion in French).

Ah, I missed that!

Will go back to comment on my re-watch. I have to say, I love the parallel universe being spawned from the bomb blast. Jack's asking his mother about his appendix surgery was just...neat.

My favorite bit, though, was Jacob telling Hugo that he had ink on his forehead. He's the anointed one now, it seems!

And why is it I can't say that without thinking of Spike's "annoying one", which really applies to Hugo not at all. :D

Actually I tended to find Hurley rather annoying in the first seasons (Dude this and Dude that got on my nerves)! It took his bonding with Sawyer and Jin to hve Hugo grow on me.

Good catch on the ink meaning that he was the anointed one, I didn't think of that!
