BSG 4.5 starts in 8 days ! The ten last episodes of the best tv thing we've had since Buffy!
I wonder if anyone from my flist has been following the Sci-Fi "You Will Know The Truth" clues...16 so-called clues have been "revealed" so far.
There are creepy audio files, clips from upcoming mid-season and mostly previous seasons...and the unfamous Last Supper Picture, minus Laura Roslin. I bet that the fact they removed Roslin from the photo is a red herring, unless it's a hint at her death before the end. They play with various unsolved mysteries and with various theories concerning potential candidates as the Fifth (Starbuck, Roslin, Adama, Gaeta, Zarek, even Romo Lampkin and of course Baltar). I can no longer believe it's one of them, even though Zarek had been a good candidate because he didn't seem to be on the Galactica when the Fours were activated and could have been switched on off-screen and hiding since then. But he had to be on fleet and D'Anna said that only four of the final Five were on the fleet. I still believe she said the truth then. And I don't believe that the Fifth will turn out to be an unknown character or a dead character. So far the only character that hasn't been showed in the clues is Boomer which of course confirms, at least to me, my theory that Sharon-Boomer is the Fifth. She is the only Cylon we know to have been activated apart from the Final Four. Sharon-Athena for instance pointed out that she had always known what she was. Since the Hub eppy Boomer has been hiding and might be seeking redemption...As for the other mysteries, well, there is:
1. What happened to the devastated Earth?
2. What happened to Starbuck and what is the new Kara exactly?
3. What is Hera's role at the end of the day? And is there still a meaning to be revealed about the Opera House dreams?
4. What about Caprica's pregnancy? Are Cylons even still Cylons anymore?
And
Lost's new season begins on the 21th, so there will be more stuff to ponder soon...
Also I know I said last year that I would not watch
Nip/Tuck anymore...Well, I'm weak. I gave in and watched episode 5x15...Nothing spectacular, as expected (the parallels have become sooooo not subtle), but I'm a sucker for Sean/Christian and Christian/Liz !
I might have indulged in such bad treat because I'm having my implants surgery tomorrow morning, but in my case it's titanium in my jaw bone, not silicone in my chest. Is it the beginning of my turning into an artifical creature?
surgery
You shared my sentiments exactly in regards to Nip/Tuck. Nothing exciting but you can't help yourself, I especially love the dynamic between Christian and Liz
Re: surgery
I'd just wish my surgeon would use music like in Nip/Tuck and be as pretty as Christian! ;- )
How is the singing going?
Re: surgery
Hey I have had three surgeries now and non of my Docs have looked anything as pretty as Christian.

The surgery went well. I slept 2 hours this afternoon and actually just got up. I think the anaesthesia has worn off now.

Right now I'm feeling rather tired and a bit nauseous but I should be okay tomorrow. I shall go to bed early.
I hope you and Cole are fine.

I have no idea. I figure it's not Kara (too obvious), not Baltar (wants it too badly) not Adama (doesn't track and been there, done that with Sol), not Apollo (also doesn't track) - possibly Roslyn, which does track but I'm not sure what would be accomplished.
It could be Helo Agathon - although how that propells the plot, I've no idea. Or Gaeta - which would be ironic. If it were Kara, Roslyn, Gaeta, Dualla, or
Adama - it would be ironic, but would it propell the plot forward? I don't know. I think they drug the mystery on for too long, because I don't care anymore.
Regarding Nip/Tuck - yep, I'm apparently weak too, because I watched it. Am also a sucker for Christian/Scean and Christian/Liz. It was actually a better episode than I expected, last year was so excrutiatingly bad and over the top - they really had no other place to go but up.

R Moore said that the Fifth is a character we, viewers, already know and I believe him because an unknown character would have little impact. And someone has already seen the Fifth: D'Anna.
If it were Boomer it would explain at least 2 things:
1. The reason we have seen only Four of the Final Five being switched on at the end of season 3 but not the Fifth, because the Fifth aka Boomer were already switched on; she has been for a while, since the end of season 1!
2. D'Anna saying that the Fifth wasn't on the fleet (besides being a red herring about Roslin).
I can't elaborate now, I must sign off but I argued my theory in previous entries you might want to read if you wnat to understand my way of thinking:

I may be completely wrong of course, but it would give Boomer's journey a nice closure, and a way to redeem herself for her shooting Papa Adama and betraying everybody over and over.
Nip/Tuck was good compared to the farce Grey's Anatomy has become!
