It's raining now !

We're having a big storm with thunder, wind and lightning...I hope it will cool us down but it's a kind of a deluge right now. As Xander would say:

 like we should start gathering up two of every animal

I gave an excellent mark today, 17/20 which is very rare in History and Geography!  I'll drink my tea and go back to Marking Hell.

But unlike Tom, I'm kinda scared of lightning.

Oh no! That's heading our way here I think Chani, we are supposed to get the storms on Friday! But I love to watch the storms so I shall be watching the lightening!! I am going horse riding tomorrow - may make an interesting ride!! Spooked horses are not very much fun!

Send it over here! The rain that is. We're in for a dry spell and despite 4.5 inches of rain two weeks ago, we need rain for the corn on a regular basis. Especially when it's making ears.

Sipping iced tea here as the temperature went to 34C and the humidity to 80%.

We're still waiting for the rain....

I love the thunderstorms we get in summer - especially the ones at night, watching the lightning from a dark window. It is a slightly scary experience, but that's half the thrill.
