I love that painting... L'origine du monde, isn't it?

One time photographer Michiel Hendrickx explained on tv what's so special about this painting. You have the woman with her legs open, but she's faced sideways, so you're prone to go a bit to your left to have a better look, but because it's a painting, you can't have a better look. The point of view stays the same! ;-)

8000 nerve endings! No wonder it's bit too sensitive sometimes. :-(

Yeah that's why vaginas almost have no nerve endings...otherwise childbirth would have been impossible (well before the peridural area!).
