Help !

frances_lievens and I are making a LJ community to fit my idea of a Salon in which we could discuss everything, like they did in the 18th Century.

I'll keep this LJ as an interface between my LJ friends and me and for fandom stuff, but the community will be devoted to films reviews, tv reviews, book reviews, art and discussions on everything philosophical or sociological, or meta etc...

I hope the community will be operational from Wednesday on, but neither she nor I are very versed in computery stuff (ok she's far better than me, she's doing the customizing !) so we could use some help from LJ users who have mastered html, artwork etc...

For instance we'd need an icon for the community, an icon that would suit the idea of a Salon. A header perhaps too?

If anyone could help, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I'm not very talented in making graphics but this interested me all the same. I don't know much about those topics, I mean, I don't think I'd have anything interesting or valuable to add to those types of conversations, but I'd like to join and listen in occasionally if that's alright. You can count on me to be supportive. :)
