Romance isn't everything

I've watched the whole season 1 and a few episodes from season 2 and the more I watch Veronica Mars the more I think that Veronica's actual romantic relationships are boring....it's her relationship with her father that is interesting and entertaining, and also those she has with "bad guys who aren't that bad actually" like that Clarence guy from Kane Softwares.

Also there's Weevil, but when it comes to Weevil I'm torn. Maybe his best match isn't Veronica but....Logan!

Moi la relation que je préfére c'est Wallace/Veronica. J'ai beaucoup aimé leur amitié dans la saison 1, c'est dommage que ça soit un peu délaissé dans la 2.
Weevil/ Logan? Pourquoi pas, j'adore vraiment leurs scènes ça me fait presque penser à Sawyer/Jack. Mais de toute façon Weevil est un de mes persos masculin préféré. Je trouve Duncan trop lisse quant à Logan ça dépend parce que des fois il peut vraiment être agaçant.

Oui c'était une jolie amitié, mais comme la musique du générique le laisse supposer l'amitié ne dure pas forcément.

Weevil est un personnage attachant en effet, un peu stéréotypé (le gentil bad boy) mais il a de la présence.

It's okay. I saw you over at Sharley's journal.

I was almost ready to 'ship V/L in season 2, but the first episode of season 2 ruined it for me. I couldn't buy how Veronica and Logan resumed it, I couldn't buy the break-up and I couldn't buy the renewed V/D...

Maybe I'm too old for that teenage stuff.

I think my "OTP" for VM is Keith/Veronica. I love their relationship, and in some ways that makes sense. While most teens fall in and out of love on a regular basis, ideally the relationship with their parent(s) lasts forever.

I understand. "Ideally" as you said...of course there's a balance on the show since her relationship with her mother is quite the opposite.

Keith is a great character, and they do work as a little couple (in an asexual way). Also it's such an unusual relationship they have (I think it's Alicia who pointed out that the Father/Daughter relationship was not normal, that he treated her like a 40 years old, and she was right) while the romantic ones are so conventional, so mainstream, so déjà vu.

Keith/Veronica is what makes the series different and refreshing.

Well, Duncan is certainly boring (even with all the problems he has got) - I don't know why, but he seems so passive and maybe that's it for me.

Logan on the other hand is an interesting character and I'm still a secret LoVe shipper, but it's certainly not the most important relationship to me.

And Logan? In a way he's another one of the bad boys that aren't that bad actually.

I share the Weevil love, but I wouldn't want to see him with either Logan or Veronica.

I was joking but I like the dynamics between Weevil and Logan. They do have chemistry.

Logan has attaching sides, but I have seen more interesting characters on tv shows and I don't think that his relationship with Veronica has been well done on screen, especially in season 2. I found it almost as boring as V/D or V/Leo, yet Leo was cute...all that romantic stuff is too teenage for me.

It's the other stuff (Veronica's investigations, Keith/Veronica ) that makes the show worth watching IMO.
