Thank you - that was hilarious. Must say I identify with the nOOb a lot of the times, as there's some stuff that I just don't get. I still don't know what ZOMG means.
I think it became the 'thing to do' because people just kept typing it wrongly! It drives me mad - but then student who use 'i' instead of 'I' and 'u' instead of 'you' also drive me mad.
