You speak like a woman who sees teaching as a vocation, pet. Most teachers I know, especially those who've been in the state education system for a few years, all seem pretty jaded and stay in their jobs because it's all they know or it's the lesser evil than starting again from scratch on a whole other career direction.

I recall, not so many years ago, when careers like, teaching, medicine, the police, fire or ambulance services were all vocational careers. Today, someone like you Chani is the exception rather than the rule... why is that, do you think?
