You know these days I don't even think that companionship and real love can last either...or rather I'm not sure that a couple simply based on love can be sure to last. Our lives are long now, and life part people. I am not saying that people stop loving each other, because basically I don't understand how you can stop loving someone if you really loved them, but I am not shocked by the idea of people taking different ways at some point and having several successive love lifes during their life time.
But this is the reason talking here, my heart likes what you made Giles tell Xander in the last chapter of "Collide", as you know it!
