Nominees have been announced. Here 's The list.

 

I haven't seen all the movies of course but here are a few categories and my pick:

Best actor in a leading role: David Strathairn in “Good Night, and Good Luck.”

Actor in a supporting role: Jake Gyllenhaal in “Brokeback Mountain”

Best actress in a leading role: I really don't know but Keira Knightley who is the only one I saw,  didn't impress me !

Actress in a supporting role: Michelle Williams in “Brokeback Mountain”

I haven't seen the other nominees but Michelle was such a portrait of vulnerability...she deserves it!

Best picture: “Brokeback Mountain”

Achievement in directing: “Good Night, and Good Luck.” (Warner Independent Pictures)
