Brrrrrrrrrr

It's getting cold here. Should be  - 2°C tomorrow. I know it's nothing compared to the Russian cold, but it's already more than what I can stand.

I hope you're okay, or at least not freezing too much, [livejournal.com profile] moscow_watcher  !

Now Chani, when you complain of the cold then say, "Should be - 2°C tomorrow", do you mean that it is warming up to - 2°C tomorrow or that it is going down to - 2°C tomorrow?

For me in January, - 2°C isn't cold. (But then here, it's currently 10°C. We're having a "Chinook" --- which one might compare to "les mistrals" of Provence only bringing warming air rather than cold. Crazy-making window rattling wind!)

Hey, cool icon, by the way. *sigh* Hand of Spike...

It's getting down to - 2°C. Might even reach - 10°C on Thursday, which is very rare and therefore very cold in Paris!

I was born near the Mediterranean sea so any negative temperature is cold for me...actually anything below 10°C is cold. :- )

So no winter ski vacations to Canada then, eh?

On vacations maybe because I'm just adventurous like that, and if I had very warm clothes and all but I don't think I could live in your "mon pays ce n'est pas un pays, c'est l'hiver" as Giles Vignault sang.

I haven't gone skiing for a very long time btw.
