I'm having a Elvis crisis again. It started on Thursday.

It happens about twice a year. I can't help listening to Elvis over and over. I had the weirdest dream last night btw. It's probably tied to my reading of fanfictions from [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy . Anyway, I dreamt of Buffy singing to Spike, in a OMWF kind of way, "You're Always On My Mind". The lyrics actually fit in the relationship , but Buffy singing with Elvis' voice, now that was bizarre!

Speaking of oddity, I watched the last episode of Lost...No, before you call the men in white, I don't think that Elvis is still alive and stuck on an island...

First an episode starting with shirtless Jin cannot be bad! Who didn't check him out?

I really like seeing Jin and Sun together, and a thoughtful Sun watching Sayid...

Locke has really fantastic green eyes. Was Eko's "don't mistake coincidence for fate" line a big clue? We didn't learn much from the film, I guess it was simply a set-up and a reminder before the last scene. Just like they made Sayid mention he saw Walt in the jungle...Sometimes I'd really like the show to surprise me a bit more!

Am I the only one who thought of the beginning of "The Matrix" when Michael saw "hello" on screen and replied? If you have seen the movie, you know what it meant...

And if our lost survivors were actually in a coma, in a hospital (a hospital called Dharma maybe). And if Walt got actually out of coma and was talking to them...

Now about the Kate stuff.

I wonder what they were trying to do with that flash-back? To make Kate sympathetic like with the A-L eppy? Because she is not more sympathetic now.

Who can like that kind of person ? She is so self-centered. She killed someone just because his existence made her feel bad about herself! My step-dad turns out to be my biological dad, and he is bad ergo he has to die! And she didn't kill him out of anger/passion/fear but in a cold-blooded way, she killed him with intent, plotting her next move and fooling people around, as she always does when she does something bad. Morally speaking she's way worse than Ana-Lucia!

Now having said that, I think she's becoming an interesting character, precisely because she's really not a good person, even though she isn't an actual evil villain either. This isn't that usual on tv. We usually get either good people/heroes or fragile people making mistakes/struggling with their demons (most of the characters in that show: A-L, Swayer, Sayid, Locke etc) or real evil villains.

Kate doesn't fit in those categories. Actually she kinda reminds me of Angel...

Oh and the Jack/AL scene reminds me the Kate/Sawyer scene when they were drinking booze together...

And also I had a thought for Spike and Angel on a plane, and of Spike's speeech on the tiny bottles of booze that were there to point out that everything is a play on perspective!
