Confession time: writing aside, I watch tv shows for the men!
Did I mention before how amazingly handsome Ray Stevenson is ?
Okay, I think I did. His acting is also spot on. He is definitely the best thing on Dexter these days, stealing every scene he is in. I feel a teeny bit sorry for Michael C. Hall...
Now I have the urge to fetch my dvds of Rome anddroll watching watch my Roman soldiers. Especially given that, beside Stevenson, there's James Purefoy who is also eye candy, and oozing sex appeal as Marc Anthony!
As for The Walking Dead, well, the writing is still extremely predictable and Daryl is just so obviously written to be the female audience's pet – the tough and sexy guy who was first introduced as an asshole but who is slowly revealed as being a sensitive guy inside couldn't be more tv cliché (they even put a baby in his arms and a poncho on his shoulders!) – but I guess I'm just easy!
And when I saw him carry Carol in his arms I swear that I just heard this:
From now on the show should be called A Redneck and A Gentleman !
