Connections
I've been obsessed with that Franz Ferdinand's song lately. It is really beautiful. I mean, the rest of the album is nice, very dancing as usual with that band, but *that* song is a gem.
I've spent years making connections between BTVS and almost everything, playing with what Umberto Eco calls the Hypertext, or rather filling it, but Fade Together really makes me think of Spike/Buffy or even Ethan/Giles.
It's bittersweet, hopeless and hopeful at the same time, it's like a hole in the world and the dream of filling it, somewhere and somewhen between this second and the next one.
I wish some talented artists from my flist got inspired by that song and wrote something or made some arty work.
