Don't tell me flist that I am the only one watching Copper?
It isn't a great show yet, and it certainly isn't Deadwood but a cop show taking place in New York, just before the end of the Civil War, is a refreshing idea and the hero does have potential. And he is in a hat!
I just watched "Husbands and fathers" and I really liked it. Mostly because it surprised me, and because the lead is kinda hot. Who would have though that a man with a broken leg could be so sexy? I totally understood Mollie the whore...
I didn't see the retribution coming, especially Annie being so instrumental in the death of her sister's murderer, and Corcoran killing the Contessa (a Madame Pompidou no less!). Corky just turned the little 13 years old whore into a murderer; he is a darker character than one would have guessed. Not your usual American cop, for sure.
Robert Morehouse is an interesting character (although more stereotyped), and MrsHaverford could become a good character too.
All those characters turned out, in this second episode, very morally-challenged. I liked it.
And I think that I have a new 'ship Kevin/Francis! I think that both Corcoran and Maguire have great noses, and the way Francis touched Kevin when Freeman was fixing his leg? *fans herself*
I know, I'm incorrigible!
