chaniOk I couldn't help it, I'm watching the CNN live about DSK's second hearing (it's such a bizarre and new thing for us to see that on screen!), and what strikes me the most is that the lawyer sucks! His body language is awful.
The D.A is a bit better (and younger, punchier)but not very impressive either (he reads a lot!). At least he's easy to understand (or maybe my understanding spoken American English has improved a great deal?!).
The previous one (on Monday) didn't sound very good either. When you think of the money those lawyers make!
That's the problem when you watch procedurial tv shows...the real thing can't compete. The actors are more charismatic and have better lines to deliver.
Of course network videos are behind the true live infos provided by twitter (Judge greenlighted bail) but that's another story.
