The Good Wife

When The Good Wife is really good it's very entertaining, like yesterday's episode, "Wrongful termination".
This is the Will I like: the Will who shares glasses of whiskey with Diane, who remembers he is smart when working a case and who has sultry eyes to go along his half-smirk! And to quote David Simms from the AV. Club "Josh Charles rocks a darkly pondersome look, after all !"
This is the Eli Gold I like: the Eli who is cunning, charming and sarcastic, yet can lose his cool and, above all, gave Alicia that wonderfully sweet smile by the end of the episode! Alan Cumming owns the screen. I can't imagine the show without him! How are they going to keep Eli around after the election if the show is renewed? As a favourite client for Lockhart/Gardner? Will they resume the Judge Diane project? There was some hint about it but I would hate to see Diane and Will part ways...
The case of the week worked, and the guests/non-regulars were good (I liked Stern's musical exit and Canning's unexpected return).
Cary was good too, and I wasn't unpleased that this episode was Kalinda-light for that storyline of hers has been going on for ages (although the scene with Peter last week was good) and it was refreshing to carry it on through Cary's angle and eyes (almost) only.
And the Childs-talking-lion was of course the highlight of the episode !!!!
Will Alicia take Canning's offer and leave the firm (and Will to Tammy!) when she learns about the Peter/Kalinda one-nighter?
