Oh, I like that! That's a good category to have. I guess in German we can talk about a Zukunftsroman.

I've just had a look at my hand-out with different definitions and it starts like this:

No one has ever managed to come up with a truly satisfactory definition of science fiction. Either the definition is too broad, including works which are clearly fantasy or horror, or else so narrow that it excludes much of the recognized field.
