I was rooting for Zoe in this. I actually believed her when she told Lacey the robot knew. Granted the robot 'knowing' is not the same as knowing from her own experience - she made a choice to believe the datastream. But I was ultimately rooting for her to shoot the dog during the last test scene even though I hadn't figured out she might be firing blanks at that stage. Daniel's been creeping the hell out of me since he told the U-78 to rip off its arm for the stockholders and this episode just added to that. He says he loves Zoe but both his tests were set up to protect the participants that weren't her. Fire couldn't harm the robot and the bullets were blanks but his words were designed to twist maximum pain out of her avatar.
