Stop it now, Prospero!

We're having a tempest. Big winds like these are very rare in Paris. Wind makes people mad. I don't like it.

Also I meant to say "Thank you" to the anonymous person who gave me virtual balloons yesterday. I think I know who you are, but just in case I'm wrong,..here are blind thanks.

And here are pictures showing the dress that Laetitia Casta wore yesterday night at the Césars and that I mentioned in my post in French:

The photographer obviously didn't care about her high chignon!

Good grief! That dress is sharing way too much!

She looks oddly like Sarah Palin if you ignore the dress and strange hair. Which are both clearly designed to be unignorable!

Thanks for sharing. I think.

I think she doesn't care. Being a former top model she's used to show her body on stage. But yes that wa sa bold outfit for the Césars ceremony. I thought she was pregnant but looks like she gave birth to her third child last summer. She still has a bit of a round belly.

At least she shows all the girls that fake breasts and anorexic bodies aren't everything!

Jesus, that dress is most unfortunate. Talk about a fresh riff on the Empress's new clothes! Also, I wouldn't have recognized her as Laetitia Casta if you hadn't identified her. Girl hasn't aged well at all, though that unfortunate dress and the desperate hair might have a lot to do with this. Dunno, I'd say Laetitia ought to fire her current stylist and sue her for damage 'cause these photos ain't going to die any time soon.

I think that the make-up is the major problem. She was beautiful in Cannes and I found her to be sublime as Bardot in the Gainbpourg film, but she had a baby in the meantime...

All the males were speechless and drooling yesterday so I guess they didn't think that the dress was that infortunate!

I forgot to say that the dress was a creation by Yves St Laurent.

The dress would've been just fine if she'd had something underneath it. A black camisole or *something*.

I do admire her for having the ovaries to wear a dress like that when she doesn't have the abdominals like a cheese grater which are expected now of women in the spotlight. It's perfectly normal for women to have a little belly. I've seen extraordinarily fit professional dancers who have a bit of a belly. But the lack of a bra or similar combined with the dire makeup and hairdo are just a very unfortunate combination.
