I'm shading my eyes from the Heroes and Ashes to Ashes spoilers, but here goes a quickie comment on Haunted:
Margaret, Adelle's friend, was paranoid about being murdered and she had herself downloaded at the Dollhouse just in case, so she could find out whodunnit. It wasn't Adelle's idea at all - I think she was even a little disconcerted by it, because it meant she couldn't really grieve for her friend.
Eliza Dushku's acting worked for me - and the change in Margaret/Juliet's language can be interpreted (or fanwanked, if you wish) in two ways: For one, Margaret was profoundly changed by the experience - especially in her relationship with her daughter (and she did comment herself on her for her unusual turn of phrase in her letter to the family. The second possibility is that it is once again Echo bleeding through, similarly to what happened in True Believer.
As to the deeper observations: Give me a little more time and I might come back to them.
