Riley and Jesse are annoying as characters but the sub-plot is interesting. For years John has been told how important he was, that he was the ultimate leader, the saviour of humanity so I can't wait to see him hear that his future self isn't necessarily seen as a flawless hero anymore, that his choices are questioned and that his so-called followers are willing to manipulate his younger self as a mere tool.

Making Kyle seem like a young kid seemed an interesting creative choice; after all, this is Sarah remembering when she was just a naive 18 year old herself. He represents her lost innocence.

I am not convinced by your interpretation, sorry. The actor was showed in flashbacks from the future first, wasn't he? He was introduced through Derek's eyes, not through Sarah's memory, so I think that it has more to do with Derek's perspective since Derek is the new tough warrior from the future and Kyle was his baby brother, hence the baby-faced guy playing the part.

By the way I really hope the writers aren't heading towards a Sarah/Derek pairing...

So do you watch Dollhouse, Stephen?
