All the Comic Con stuff made me want to rewatch the mid-season finale of Battlestar Galactica so I did it tonight.
You remember that wonderful Tigh scene when he tells Adama he is a cylon? Well, he clearly says these words in this order:
"like Boomer I'm one of the finale five". If this isn't a clue!
Of course "Like Boomer" could be seen as a mere continuation of Adama's line "switched you on", as if a " Yes I was switched on" was implied before the "like Boomer" which thus would be completely disconnected from the final revelation "I'm one of five". After all MH makes a pause before he carries on with "I'm one of the five" and the subtlety here is precisely to play on the ambiguity.
But IMO the pause here mostly serves to emphasize "like Boomer" and MH says it louder, delivering the hidden clue.
And if you forget Adama's previous line and focus only on Tigh's, he didn't say "Like Boomer! I'm a Cylon" but "Like Boomer! I'm one of the five".
I know this may sounds like a syllogism, but in my mind it obviously means that Boomer is one of the five too.
The Four gave Kara Earth and I do believe that Saul Tigh just gave us the Fifth with that line!
