I loved the new Lost episode. Emotionally it worked great. But I can't understand its logic. Faraday says that tomorrow he will start to train the rat - but the rat dies before the training starts. Does it mean that by passing the information from the future to the "past" Faraday Desmond has triggered the creation of the "next" timeline?

But I'm not sure if the writers even think about it...
