These days I can't watch television because I can't stand seeing or hearing Sarkozy. I hope his presidency will end very soon. I'm just ashamed to have this guy for president.
He's just a lowlife liar...only interested in "success" and money; he's been feeding the far-right with borrowing their favourite themes; he's been destroying public education, healthcare, justice, free media; he's been butchering Molière's tongue for 5 years, creating new syntax and unlikely grammar in the process, and he and his gang are so uncultured that it isn't even funny...just sad.
His last howler? He mentioned Stéphane Camus in a speech...
He is an embarrassment and a disgrace.

Let's not end this day with a sour note
Apr. 30th, 2012 11:50 pmSince it's been established that I can be obsessed, here is a sample of John Hawkes' range, especially for kick_galvanic (would you have recognized Sol in that extract from From dusk till down?) and
tx_cronopio .
I've seen him excel in many films as an actor, and he's a good musician, singer and song-writer too, but Sol Star from Deadwood and Teardrop from Winter's Bone will always be the first reasons I love John Hawkes so much.
But yes, if I can, I will go and see him play a poet with an iron lung in The Surrogate, and also The Playroom in which Sol and Alma are married and have four kids!
