I think we love the show for the same reasons...and I always find your commentaries delightful. This one is no exception. I completely agree about the Odysseus connection, particularly with the image of Penelope promising to "wait" for him and the fact that she is supposed to get married to someone else, but apparently keeps putting it off.

I need to watch it again before commenting further. But, the only thing that seemed over the top to me was the four toed statue. Any ideas on that one?
